Access Management in Joint Sensing and Communication Systems: Efficiency versus Fairness

In this paper, we consider a distributed joint sensing and communication (DJSC) system in which each radar sensor as JSC node is equipped with function function. Deploying multiple nodes may require large amount of bandwidth. Therefore, investigate the bandwidth allocation problem for DJSC system. particular, aim to optimize nodes. To improve efficiency while benefiting spatial diversity advantage systems, objective maximize sum performances, i.e., estimation rates, data fairness all users. The optimization non-convex difficult be solved. For this, propose fully polynomial time approximation algorithm, prove that algorithm can guarantee near-optimal solution an accuracy bound $\epsilon$. Furthermore, use heuristic lower complexity. simulation results show both proposed algorithms are able achieve solutions close optimum computationally efficient fashion.
